I have started an excited journey to become a certified instructor with Judy Niemeyer and her company Quiltworx. I spent 6 days at the Quiltworx training facility in August, in classes taught by Judy learning her techniques, sewing samples and understanding the basics of her designs. I am happy to say I passed the first phase of Certification and will return to the Training Facility in Kalispel, Montana, April 2015. At that time I will spend 8 days with Judy learning the details of her business and developing my own teaching plan. I have a lot of projects and “homework” to complete between now and then, the program will give me the confidence and experience I need to teach all of you the techniques and patterns Judy has developed. I am very excited and look forward to the New Year, I will be offering many classes, workshops and Technique of the Month programs in the future.
