In this 2 day class, Tara with Uh Oh Creations will teach you to make your own version of the amethyst Project Bag, a pattern by Sew Sweetness, it introduces mesh and elastic with a parachute buckle, and the bag is designed to hold your projects (ends up being perfect for 12″ x 12″ quilting blocks with associated project materials). Individuals can even use one of their own quilt blocks for the top of the bag. Here is a link to the bag and information on it: https://sewsweetness.com/products/amethyst-project-bag

- You must be comfortable sewing an accurate seam allowance, this pattern calls for a 1/4” seam allowance
- Understanding the standard sewing features of your machine is a must, when in doubt, bring extra presser feet, and your manual
- You must be willing to try new things, bag making is not just sewing and we may go out of your comfort zone.
