It’s been a very busy summer, I can’t believe its the middle of August already!!

I want to Thank everyone who came out for the Trunk Show in June, its too bad that Mother Nature didn’t cooperate  but over 140 of you still came to see all the amazing quilts despite the blustery evening!

I’m in full swing teaching classes, the complete list is posted on my website, I am very excited about the Charm Element Classes, this is a great introduction to paper foundation piecing for those of you still a little unsure, because we will only be making the basic units, not an entire quilt, you can then use the units in smaller projects like pillows, bags, aprons etc.  Click here for more info on Charm Element Classes.

The Technique of the Month Class, Mariner’s Compass will start Saturday September 26, one Saturday a month for 8 months, many of you have already signed up and started collecting fabric, there is still some room if you’d like to participate. Mariner’s Compass Class info.

The month of September I am hosting Wedding Ring Classes Wednesday September 9, 16, 23 and 30.  This is a great chance for those of you with unfinished projects in your closets to bring them out and finish them up, or if you purchased the kit I can get you started, come to one class or all the classes.

October 21 I will start teaching the Prairie Star, this quilt is very similar to the Glacier Star I have broken the pattern down into 6 classes to make it more manageable.

I would love to come out to your guilds and do a Trunk Show for you, contact me for more information.  I will be running some other classes in the fall that don’t involve paper foundation piecing, so stay tuned, be sure to “Like” Bow Bench Retreat on Facebook so you can stay updated.

If there is a pattern, or kit you would like to make but I don’t have a class for it specifically, please contact me, often I can add you into another class to work on that project.  The old expression, so many quilts, so little time, applies here, I simply can’t find the time to teach every pattern.

Don’t forget about the 12 hour creating on the Bow Saturdays, please bring your own food, and pre-register so I know you are coming!

Cheryl and the “knitting “ ladies meet every Wednesday night from 7-9 you are always welcome to stop in for coffee, learn to knit, or work on a sewing project or whatever your heart desires.
