Beginner Machine Embroidery
September 11 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
$175.00I’m very excited to teach you “Beginner Machine Embroidery”!
I love machine embroidery and there are so many projects that you can do. It will expand your quilting repertoire.
Here are some items that will be necessary for the class:
1. Large Oval hoop – this should have come with your embroidery machine. Please do not buy a hoop. Contact me if you have any questions.
2. Foot #26 – this is the embroidery foot. This should have come with your embroidery machine.
3. Empty bobbin – we will be filling your bobbin with embroidery bobbin thread.
4. Small sharp scissors – for trimming applique fabrics.
5. The manual that came with your machine. If your machine only came with a digital copy, please bring that loaded onto a device that we can search from.
6. Thread stand. Embroidery threads work better vertical instead of horizontal.
7. 12” ruler and water-soluble marking pen. A Frixion Pen will be fine.
Included in the kit:
1. Embroidery needles
2. Embroidery thread including bobbin thread.
3. Background fabric including applique scraps.
4. Stabilizers
5. Embroidery tape/basting spray
6. USB sticks
Projects that we will be doing:
1. Standardembroidery
2. Quilt label
3. Applique
4. Free-standing lace
And if time permits, embroidering on a towel.
I’m really excited about sharing my passion for Machine Embroidery.
